Clay object mug

This is my clay mug. I first molded the cup then added the handle. I made the three turtles, then added texture to the outside to give it a wavelike texture. I used an ombré technique to the outside of the mug 

Black and white

This is my white charcoal drawing of what was supposed to be Martin Luther King Jr. I drew with a white pencil on black paper

Food

Here's a picture of a dessert i got in the Cayman Islands. It was a mousse with a hard chocolate she'll. 

Wire

This is my fat wire lady. I started with the head, then added the pear-shaped body. It was hard to build up layers of wire 

Superhero

This is my medieval cat woman. I gave her puffy sleeves and an accordion collar. She still looks like cat woman, but with a medieval vibe 

Pen drawing

This is my pen drawing which took forever. I had never used pen to draw someone before so it was a big challenge for me 

Hands

This is a close up shot of wills hand. I took this while in art class 

Unique Self Portrait

This might be the scariest thing I've ever created. I used photoshop on one of my senior pictures and flipped my face around so you have to kind of take a double glance at it when you look.

Bokeh

This is Bokeh. I took this picture while driving and the lights were all reflecting. 

Halloween zombie

This is Morgan Haga as a zombie. I first painted her face with white paint, then added the dark makeup around her eyes and nose, then added veins and blood to finish it off. I used photoshop to make her look scarier

Something blue

These are clay paint chip colors on the back of the cabinet. There are different variations of blues in this photo 

Framing

We used the lockers to frame Riley in a unique way

Superhero

I had cat woman from the Renaissance era. I drew her sitting down with her collar on. 

Foreshortening

This is foreshortening. I took this picture from up above so it looks like her head is way bigger than her legs, but in reality it is just the angle of the shot 

Contrast

This is a contrast of black and white found in the Tri-Valley hallways. Many wouldn't guess that this image is a close up of a trash can. 

Silhouette

This is my silhouette photo. Bryce stood in front of a light filled doorway to get the perfect shot 

Halloween

This is my skeleton bowl. I spent about two weeks trying to skull the hands and it was definitely the hardest part of the project. 

Face on canvas

This is my canvas that I made. I first molded the face out of plaster on a mold. I then glued on the face and painted a mountain/lake scene over the top to make it blend 

Backlighting

This is backlighting. I held up a leaf to the sun to create a sun flare around the leaf

Machine

This is my teacher's boom box. I took a close up picture to make it more interesting looking. 

Different perspective

This is a picture of Morgan. I later on the ground to take this picture and make it more interesting. 

Animal combo

This is a combo of a giraffe, turtle, and a deer. I used pencils only for this project. It took me about two weeks to finish 

Watercolor resist

I made this mandala by using the watercolor resist. It took me about one week total to do. I watercolored pinks and purples over the top of the resist then peeled it off.

Ordinary to extraordinary

This is a close up picture of a pencil. When first looking at it, you might not be able to tell its a pencil. 

Something golden

I took this picture of my golden earing. I got a close up shot so you would have to guess what the object is 

Origami

This is my origami heart. I started with strips of paper and folded them into triangles. This was a fairly easy project, but very time consuming 

Minion/ girl with the pearl earring

This is a minion head put into the face of the painting "The girl with the pearl earring." I used oil pastels and smeared them with baby oil to give it a smoother look 

Light Painting

We went into a dark room and "painted" with the lights. It was kind of hard to think of ideas to paint. I ended up drawing a squiggly design

Shapes

I first sketched this out on paper. I then cut out certain shapes and used wire to construct this piece 

Splatter picture

I took this picture as Morgan was pushing on the water fountain button. i think this will be a challenging project to draw.

10 book pages

These pages are just random doodles. Some were very time consuming and some were not 

Music

This is Cassidy playing her clarinet. I took it from above so you could see her instrument. 

Tracing

I traced a skull image for my project. It was pretty easy to do. I just colored a pink oil pastel color on the back of the sheet and transferred it with a pen on top.

Board game close up

This is a close up of the monopoly game at my grandparents house. I was playing it with my cousins a couple of weeks ago. I didn't win the game 

Something new

This is my new shirt from American eagle.  I got it yesterday so it is new to me. 

Spring photo

This is my spring photo. The plants are starting to become green and the flowering crab is blooming flowers. 

Glass fusing

I'm not a fan of this project. It was super easy, but mine just didn't look like anything special. It was somewhat hard to do a piece that worked. The clear piece on top was blurry and didn't sit right

Mask

This is my butterfly mask. I did it because I hate butterflies. These butterflies are very dark and scary because of my fear for them. There is bloody splattered on them. 

Reflection in water

This is a picture of the sunset in the Cayman Islands. It was about 6:30 when I took this.

Posed portrait

This is Sydney Haga dramatically looking back at the camera. The light is hitting her face perfectly. She could definitely use this as a senior picture
