Plaster Canvas Art

I slabbed some plaster on this and voila!

American Pride Mosaic

I made this by breaking colored tiles and gluing them with tacky glue onto this board. I then put grout inside of the cracks.

White Charcoal

I free handed this dog and then I colored in the highlights with a white charcoal pencil.

Crayon Stencils

This rubber duck was done with crayons. Unlike most of the other classmates, I rubbed the crayons in, instead of splattering it. The bubbles and water were colored with blue crayons and the duck was yellow with an orange beak. I thought the duck was a cute idea.

Foam Board Sculpture

I did the beach theme because I like the idea of all of the layers of waves and the textures. I cut out all of the shapes in one piece of foam board.  then painted the objects. They were glued onto my base with hot glue. they are all layered on the base

Description

My name is Sydney Hausmann. I am an art student from Tri-Valley High School. I am currently a sophomore. Art is my favorite subject in the school day. I play three sports. Basketball, volleyball, and track are my favorite sports. Other than sports, I like to craft in my free time. I make a ton of DIY projects for my room. In the summer I usually go to workouts. I worked at Coldstone Creamery this last summer. 

This year I want to learn some photography skills. Also, editing pictures and making them look better. I want to work with clay and plaster. I would like to work with the charcoal pencil. My favorite art technique would have to be drawing with just a regular pencil.
